SRS Crisis Team

The Franz-Xaver-von-Schönwerth secondary school in Amberg has had a crisis team for many years, which consists of a smaller and an extended group. This team provides the appropriate structures for dealing with a crisis in the school.

Members

:

  • Matthias Schall, RSD (Headmaster)

  • Christian Schön, BerR (extended school management and religious education teacher)

  • Annette Hilllebrand, BerRin(school psychologist)

  • Stephanie Smith (Youth Social Worker)

  • Dagmar Gawinowski, SemRin (liaison teacher and religion teacher)

  • Brigitte Bodensteiner, StRin (RS) (Religious Education Teacher)

Tasks:

The crisis team sees its task as offering support and providing stabilization measures in acute emergency and crisis situations that occur in or affect our school life. Such situations include, for example, a serious school bus accident, sudden death, suicide or attempted suicide of one or more members of the SRS school family, as well as threats of a school shooting or violence.

In such a case, the crisis team would coordinate an appropriate course of action and take targeted measures. It meets as soon as one of the events mentioned occurs at our school, but also meets at regular intervals for working meetings.

Particularly in dramatic situations in the lives of students, we as a school are dependent on information from outside. So do not hesitate to contact one of the members mentioned above in such a case (Tel. 915 650). Only if we as a school know about a serious crisis situation in the life of a student (e.g. death of a parent or sibling, etc.) can we react appropriately at school!

In the event of personal crises that affect your child's school situation, your first point of contact is the class teacher, the liaison teachers, the school psychologist and the youth social worker.
